At the beginning of this month, we are very happy to introduce a new major version of xStand for Mac.
This app allows you transform any Mac in a public internet kiosk. Mostly used by museums, library and universities, xStand can also be used to display web content on the booth of a trade show or to lock a web app in full screen mode for end users. Everything is possible and it's why our customers love it. The user interface can be customized to any needs.
The new version is bringing a new modern look inspired by Mavericks and iOS 7. We also rewritten cookies management which means that cookies are now separated from other web browsers. A huge improvement in security. We improved URL control, favorites management and the reliability of the app. Best of all, this update is free for all users of xStand 6.x and highly recommended with OS X 10.9 Mavericks. For users of older kiosks, is still working fine under OS X 10.6.
